Majestic Hooves – Riding Lesson Terms & Conditions

By booking a riding lesson with Majestic Hooves, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Weight Limit

For the welfare of our horses, the maximum rider weight is 100 kg (220 lbs). Unfortunately, we cannot accept riders above this limit.

2. Riding Equipment

All riders must have:

• A correctly fitted riding helmet that meets current safety standards.

• Riding boots with a small heel.

These must be purchased by the rider and brought to every lesson. For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not provide personal riding helmets or boots.

3. Follow Instructions

Riders must listen carefully to the instructor at all times. Do not mount, dismount, feed, lead, or handle any horse unless instructed to do so.

4. Horse Behaviour

Horses are living animals and, by nature, can sometimes become startled or react unexpectedly. While our horses are carefully selected for their calm temperament and are suitable for beginners and children, no horse can ever be guaranteed to behave predictably at all times.

5. Yard Rules

All visitors must respect the yard, farm, staff, other riders, and horses. Running, shouting, or behaviour that may frighten the horses is not permitted.

6. Spectators

Each rider may bring one guest only. No more than one accompanying person is permitted unless agreed in advance.

7. Children

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the premises.

8. Health & Medical Conditions

Please inform us before your lesson if you have any medical condition, injury, disability, or if you are pregnant, as this may affect your ability to ride safely.

9. Clothing

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for riding. Shorts, sandals, high heels, are not permitted.

10. Safety First

For your safety and the welfare of our horses, the instructor's decision is final at all times. We reserve the right to end a lesson if instructions are not followed or if behaviour is considered unsafe.

11. Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your lesson. Late cancellations or failure to attend may result in the lesson fee being charged.

12. Liability

Horse riding is a risk sport. While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure your safety, participation is entirely at your own risk.
